Technology, Future, Magic
Most of civilizational progress has been driven by Technology.
This has been true for the past 2,000 years, and will likely be true for the next 2,000 years. People were illiterate, until the printing press. Food was a scarce resource, until the agricultural revolution. Transport was difficult, until railways and cars made it easy.
Technology is what moves the present into the future. Even though this is obvious for anyone with eyes to see, there are still people who want to stop the advancement of technology (for all kinds of retarded reasons... but that's a topic for another day.)
The point of this article is simple -- we are a few steps away from a totally different future. What AI has become over the past few years is nothing short of Magical... and I don't use this word lightly. The fact that you can now automate entire business functions, end to end, with models like Fable 5.1 or GPT-6 Astra, in a reliable, predictable and consistent way, is simply incredible.
You can literally start a new business in one day and use agents to automate & speed-up every single aspect of your new business -- even handling some parts fully autonomously. You can talk to these AI models to become top 1% educated in ANY domain or sector you want, within just a few short days.
Voice models are nearly perfect. Image models can create hyper-realistic images, and make precise edits. Video models are 2-3 months away from being irrecognizable. The progress isn't just in LLMs... it is everywhere.
This leads me to one striking conclusion... No matter what you do, you have to work on AI.
You are living through the greatest technological revolution of all time. Do not waste it by working in an industry of the past. You need to do whatever it takes to work in the AI field, as closely and directly as possible.
Don't lie to yourself by saying "oh, I will just use AI in my work, and become the most AI-native person in my field". This is total cope. I know it, because that's exactly what I said to myself in 2023, before I quit my previous business, dropped everything, went into the AI industry with everything I got.
You cannot waste this moment. You have to work in AI. Your future self is begging you to.
